The Kathon line of antimicrobial agents from Rhom & Haas, added to latex products, are very effective. They have product that are designed for use under many different circumstances. Dow has recently bought R & H, so I don’t know who to contact right now to get it. Kathons are more for preventative uses.

Dow sells DOWICIL QK-20, (QK means quick-kill), so adding this product to your rejected latex should get rid of your contamination. If your latex smells bad due to the contamination, there’s not much you can do about it.
