I hate writing an answer for someone trying to post it and then the question has been removed!?
The question was simply asked does voting make a person a “good citizen” and this is my answer how do you all feel about this question and my answer?
Here was the answer I wanted to post to his question:
Actually that is only one of many issues as an adult that is a measure of being a “good citizen,” because in actuality it’s an “Upstanding/good & productive citizen,” that society wants you to be. In other words good would be not committing crimes, not causing undue harm to others or yourself. The productive part can have to do with voting, but society also expects that you will not become a burden on it in many ways. Stay employed, maybe even create jobs, not to take unemployment or welfare, not to have children out of wedlock, not to get divorced, not to spread sickness, disease, mayhem and destruction. Again to be a “good citizen” is to make society overall a better place and be a positive role model in general. Great question and best of luck to you in all that you do.
